Every summer, Wichita Children’s Home mails a themed card to notify donors that the non-profit has recurring needs and is open to donations year-round. The client’s inspiration to utilize the word search from an older version of the card inspired the treasure hunt theme, to find the real treasures a child needs and encourage donations.
Children’s basic necessities are highlighted in the treasure chest, which include school supplies, hygiene products, and clothing. To keep it lighthearted, the items are scattered along the treasure map reiterate the theme of searching for treasures.
Social Media Campaign
Wichita Children’s Home is known to reach out to donors through holiday cards, but fewer people are using mail to send checks when these transactions are accessible online, at home. To consider their online audience and evolve this donation campaign for social media, I developed motion for their Instagram story and Twitter.
